As the new owners of West Main Kitchen, Jen and I treat you like guests dining in our home.
We continue to offer a unique, fine dining experience in a quaint historic building in downtown
Syracuse, Indiana, home of Lake Wawasee. Relax and enjoy a four-course prix fix menu utilizing
locally sourced and seasonal fresh ingredients, showcasing great Steak, Fish, and Pork offerings.
The previous owners created one of the Midwest’s most relaxing dining events by operating as
a reservation-only restaurant with limited seating. Continuing this model also allows us to
ensure we are always using the freshest ingredients delivered each week. We frequently oven-
roast USDA Choice Steaks, Duroc Porterhouse Pork Chops, Faroe Island Salmon, and other fresh
fish harvested just days before preparation. We curate themed dinners incorporating
appetizers, soup or salad, savory fresh herbs, and vegetables. Your meal often concludes with
a decadently topped signature WMK Skillet Fudge Brownie.
Jen and I strive to leverage our combined 40-plus years in healthcare with my love of cooking
and Jen’s love of hosting to inspire our mission to serve high-quality, healthy meals that nourish
the body and mind in an atmosphere that warms the soul. Also, we use our prior work
experience in the service industry to provide an intimate dining experience focusing on
healthier dining utilizing unique ingredients you can use in your cooking. We enjoy interacting
with our guests through our open-concept kitchen and speak-easy-like restaurant. A full bar is
offered with top-shelf liquor, featuring a hand-crafted cocktail list and a meticulous selection of
approachable wines by the glass or bottle.
